FLAGSHIP BEERS

“Flyin’ Ant” Honey Blonde Ale. 4.9% ABV. A light and refreshing blonde ale crafted from Montana-grown pilsner and honey malts, finished with local honey. Easy drinking, with a crisp finish and just a hint of sweet aromatics.

“The Other One” Hazy IPA. 5.9% abv. Our HAZY IPA is a showcase for hop-blend experimentation, featuring modern hop varieties grown in the Pacific Northwest and Montana. A moderate hop bitterness provides the base upon which big tropical hop flavors and aromas rest, supported by Montana-grown Pilsner and Vienna and Wheat malts, plus flaked oats and wheat to drive the haze and provide a smooth finish.

“Ursula” Oatmeal Stout. 6.0% abv. A full-bodied stout with a smooth finish and just enough roast character to linger after the sip and compliment the velvety malt sweetness. This stout is crafted from an artful blend of Montana-grown Pale and Aromatic malts, domestic “blond roasted” and flaked oats, and roasted barley imported from the UK.

ARCHIVAL BEERS

“West Fork” Dark American Wheat. Brewed in collaboration with the folks at Gallatin Valley Malt, this is our interpretation of a traditional “Dunkleweizen” style, brewed with a distinctly local, Montana attitude. This amber-colored wheat beer is crafted entirely of Montana-grown and-malted grains and Montana-grown hops; including Roasted Wheat, Munich, Pilsner, and Wheat Malts from Gallatin Valley Malts and Magnum hops from Bell Crossing Farms in the Bitterroot Valley. Fermented with a clean American Ale yeast strain to allow the malts to shine. 6% abv, 20 IBU

Widow Maker Double Black IPA. Also known as a “Cascadian Dark Ale” style, this big beer uses de-bittered black malts and chocolate wheat malt to create a nearly opaque, smooth blackness, with rye and crystal rye malts to add a bit of heft and chewy complexity. Generously hopped with straightforward American bittering hops in the kettle (Warrior and Copper) followed by late additions and a dry hop with everyone’s favorite new-school hop combo (Citra and Mosaic) to create layers of nuanced hop flavors that punch through the darkness. Dangerously drinkable, for Experts Only. 8.0% 120 IBUs. This beer is an homage (not a clone!) to the infamous “Wookey Jack” from a well-known CA craft brewer

“Montan-Alt” Altbier (traditional German-style Amber Ale). A beer style which pre-dates the discovery/invention of lager beers in Germany, this traditional hoppy amber ale provided the inspiration behind many of the amber beers produced in the early days of the American craft beer revolution. Our version is crafted with Montana-grown and locally-malted Pilsner malt, Light and Dark Munich malts from Gallatin Valley Malt, and features Magnum hops grown by Bell Crossing Farms in Western Montana. This beer was cool-fermented with a traditional German ale strain that balances the upfront toasty malt flavors and moderate hoppiness with a crisp, clean finish that invites another sip (or pint!). 5.25% abv, 38 IBU

“Welcome To Paradise” Tropical Hazy IPA w/ Mango & Passionfruit. 5.4% abv. A summertime variation of our popular Hazy IPA, made with Montana-grown pilsner and wheat malts, plus flaked wheat and oats. Bursting with tropical aroma and flavors from the fruit, plus a generous hop addition of BRU-1 and Citra hops.
